Session Fees, Structure, and Cancellation Policy
My fee is $130 per 60-minute hour and $195 per 90 minute hour. Payment is accepted at the time of service by cash, check, or credit card.
Phone calls over 10 minutes are prorated and billed at the same rate.
If canceling a session, please provide at least 24 hours notice to avoid paying the full fee.
Insurance from 3rd-Party Payers
I do not bill directly for third-party payments via medical insurance, but I am an out-of-network-provder for many insurance plans and many patients reliably receive reimbursement for a large portion of my fee. I can provide you with a monthly receipt for monies paid which you may submit for reimbursement from your insurance company. Please check your coverage by contacting your health insurance provider and asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
Do you cover out-of-network mental health providers?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount or percentage per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
For patients without the means to pay full fee, help with payment may be obtained through Island County Counseling Connections Program, Washington Women in Need. These programs are intended for patients who qualify as low-income. You must contact the program directly and be approved prior to making an appointment. A modest co-pay amount will be worked out based on your income and the current availability of sliding fee openings.
Prior to your initial session, please print out and complete the brief paperwork below and bring it with you to your first appointment.
